Justin Law Celebrates Fifth Win at Goodwood FOS
Justin Law celebrated his 40th birthday by winning in an epic shootout to claim victory in the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Entering the 1990, Le Mans winner Jaguar XJR 12D, Justin was able to claim his fifth all-time victory in this historic hill climb.
Former record holder Anthony Reid was the first man of the weekend to beat the 50 second mark driving an Arrinera Hussarya supercar and looked set for the fastest time, before rally ace Mark Higgins overtook his time in a Subaru Impreza. With only a few minutes left to run Justin put in an exceptional drive, kissing the hay bales on the way up. His time of 46.13 was enough to stave off the attempt from Jeremy Smith in his PenskePC22 Indycar.
